    Passports

Quick question, just looked into a early July trip but our passports are due up in November. Is that gonna be a problem with the 6 month rule or does AUA not follow that criteria. Not interested in sending them out for renewal and taking a chance not getting them back in time !! Looks like my retirement age is gonna be pushed back again !!!!

You still have a full month, I got my passport expedited in a week, there is risk on both sides of the deal.

The "6 month rule" does not apply to every country.

    For example:

Does not apply to Aruba: https://travel.state.gov/content/pas...try/aruba.html

"3 month rule" for Portugal: https://travel.state.gov/content/pas.../Portugal.html

I never knew about the 6 months rule and on one trip to Aruba the check in counter told me about it and my passport was expiring in 1 month. I was nervous but they checked and told me no issues with Aruba. They had me sweating!!!

When it all becomes a blur, that's a good thing.

So we are going to be in Aruba until August 8th. My daughters passport expires Oct 3. She will be ok with it then right? From what I'm understanding as long as it's valid for the dates that you are visiting then you are ok. Right?

Yes, she'll be okay. Aruba only requires a valid passport and doesn't have the 6 month rule. They may point out that the passport is about to expire.
