well my 2 cents is to grab the jetblue with the stop at jfk
we usually fly aa to jfk and then on to aruba jet blue is moving in to a new terminal at jfk i think early october. don't let jfk change of planes deter you. you may be hard pressed to get that good air fare anyplace else. andrea |

Jetblue has a non-stop on Saturday's out of Logan. We have timeshare Sun-Sun but we are leaving on a Sat to grab the non-stop flight on Jetblue. At the time AA didn't have a non-stop for when we were traveling. Plus, I think Jetblue is more comfortable.

You all should count your blessings that you're not trying to get to Aruba from the upper Mid-west. For a number of reasons, we choose to not drive 5 hours to Chicago the day before our trip and the same 5 hours home the day following. We could take a non-stop out of Chicago that is currently $900. Multi-stop are available for slightly less.
We choose to leave for our regional airport, and save the 5 hrs each way plus 2 nights hotel. Thus we only have one option where we can make the trip in one day each way. The price $1,312 PP! 1st class is only $3,490 PP! Probably the only time of the year I wished I lived on the east coast

Our airfare for next June started out at over $1200 in the beginning of August. It finally went down about 3 weeks later and we bought at $615. Promptly the fare went back up to over $900 and has stayed there. ![]() Interesting enough though, when checking fares for Christmas over the past weekend, we could have gotten tickets for $1000 each. Less than what we paid last year for Christmas. There is just no rhyme or reason except for "supply and demand". There are definitely more flights out of the northeast corridor. ![]() You are very smart for checking the first class airfares. There are times when a discounted first class fare will be the same as coach (mainly if there are only full fare coach still available).

We're struggling as well...
We always try to book in Sept. for our two weeks (last week Apr./first week May). The least expensive flight that gets there in a reasonable amount of time that we can find from either Boston or Manchester is around $1700 total for both. Am I missing something with the much lower airfares you guys are talking about? I sure hope so. George
