Upon arrival on Friday we noticed LOTS of workmen doing ceiling work and painting along the looong walkway from arrival gates to immigration hall.
(go up the escalator and turn right into the long hallway)

the ceiling looks great/beautiful. and the walls are painted and it looks very bright and cheerful.

i would imagine that new carpeting or flooring will go down soon and artwork hung. the big kukooo kanakoo (sp??!!) advertisement is still there on the left, but that is about all that remains of the "old".

it really is very nice!
