Question Question...

Okay, I know I'm probably silly for asking this but...How is the flight over the water to Aruba? I've only flown a couple of times and really kind of nervous of the flight from the States to Aruba. Thinking of flying over the water really freaks me out even though I know air planes fly to and from Aruba everyday. Is there anything to worry about or should I just enjoy the flight?!

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
i am a terrible flyer.
i envision the worst.
i do not like sitting too far up front.......the front is what hits first!
anyway the more i flew the worse it got.
finally i took the advice of a friend and asked the doctor for a script of antianxiety medicine. in my case he gave me a script for xanax.
it worked.
worked well!
a friend of mine, the one that advised me to ask the doctor takes ativan.
i have graduated from xanax to a half a unisom pill and have not used a xanax in a couple of yrs.
now, when i fly i am sound asleep.
honestly give your dr a call.

we just did that flight in April, it isn't bad. don't sit by the window! If I had to guess we were over the water about 2 hours. Watch the movie that always helps. the other thing that helps is shot of tequila!!! heehee

Just keep your window blind closed... And bring an iPod or something to keep you occupied. Just try not to think about it, I know harder said than done....

Great thanks for the info! I might try the Unisom pill. Luckily we're sitting in the back of the plane on the way to Aruba lol!!

I thought about watching a movie maybe on my laptop or something. I bet the time goes by fast when you're watching a movie. I told my husband to sit next to the window he's all excited lol! My husband said there's nothing to be scared about and if we crashed he would want to crash in the water higher chance of surviving than slamming into the ground. He knows how to make me feel better haha!
