    Ups :-(.
    That's like being in the stone age.
    I expected at least a prio lane through the safety.

    i respectfully disagree.

    paying the UP charge to the airline gives certain perks and benefits to the passenger only associated with the airline.

    everything else at the airport is equal. security points, aruba immigration, us customs.

    Just been approved in the NEXUS program, was wondering is there any NEXUS machines at the US custom in Aruba?

    Global entry is amazing. It's $100 for 5-years and you get TSA pre ✔.
    This has nothing to do with kiosks at the ticket counter for self service checkin.
    Global entry allows you to skip the customs lines. How sweet is that?

    AUA does have self service kiosks at the ticket counter for check-in only.

    Are the lines any shorter at the airport if you're flying first class?

    expedited check in for business and 1st class
    CHECK IN is only expedited at the ticketing area for your airline. = probably shorter line.

    the rest of the process is equal for all passengers no matter what the class of air service;
    equal access for immigration and security area
    equal going through US Customs
    equal access then going thru the final security

    so the only benefit of first or business class INSIDE the airport is getting to the ticketing agent faster and being able to board the plane at the gate earlier, the rest is the same as all of the folks in coach (steerage)
