United Dropping Flights

I received a phone call from United that we had a flight change for our return trip. It seems United will not be flying from Dulles to Aruba and return now on Tuesdays in February.
It would not be bad except they wanted to rebook us on US Air. US Air does not carry dogs in baggage.
So...... we changed to a Wednesday return and now working on adding another day to our reservation at the Amsterdam Manor and with Hans at Tropic.

Well at least they warned you far enough in advance that you could work on your itinerary...some of the posts from folks that found out at the airport are awful.........I am flying USAir in November and have checked online as well as with a ticket agent periodically and so far everything is a go.....hopefully nothing will change and I won't be stressed 2 days before our trip...

Aruba, my home away from home !!

Well..... They are also dropping Monday flights from Dulles to Aruba in May 09. I rebboked on the Sunday flight going down, but still have a Tuesday return. Lets see how long that holds

I would check with United about your Tuesday return flight. Searching the web site they are only showing to US Air via Charlotte

Hello my fellow Ontarian, I wrote about this before as my two sons were travelling to Aruba via Dulles on Wednesday Dec. 17th and that flight was cancelled in June. We had a lot of trouble finding a way of rerouting them.

Good luck!

Eagle Beach Boy was correct!! Not that I doubted it myself!

Early August 2008 for May 2009 flight
United first dropped the Monday May 09 flight going down so they moved me to Sunday.... a day earlier....

Yesterday August 2008 for May 2009 flight
Then they dropped my Tuesday May 09 return and rebooked me on the Sunday flight return. Two days earlier...

So I end up with Sun-Sun for 2 weeks.... that's fine I suppose.

The flight jockeying saga continues!!!!! They were very polite though.........

Let it Ride...
