US AIR Non stop. BOS-AUA Sept2010 Dropped

Just tried to buy our tickets for the USair flight 1685 Nonstop from Boston to Aruba. They have dropped that flight. Now have to connect in Charlotte or Philly. Which now means as far as nonstops from Boston to Aruba in September it will be Jet Blue only. Which I will now look into but they only put their flight schedules out 6 months in advance.

yes typically in the "off season" some of the airlines reconfigures their schedules/equipment and if they can consolidate they do.

i would be guessing, but would think that maybe December thru April that non stop might be still there..............as that is a more popular travel peiord to aruba.

although a direct flight is the best way (imo) to go, it makes me shake my head to see that the connecting flights are usually more expensive......due to taxes etc..

Yes we did look into AA but they stopped their nonstop from Boston in Septemeber a few years back. Just wait and see what Jet Blue has for pricing or back to connecting flights back to paradise in September.

FYI...announcement made on the radio that JB was cutting back in boston and were laying off people. I wouldn't count on that if I were you. I think upwards of 60 flights were going to be nixed.
