It would have to be a charter. Most people on the west coast that are looking for a tropical experience go to Hawaii.

Met a man who travels regularly to Aruba from Vancouver, go to Toronto and then continues direct from there. AC is expensive though. Perhaps, you might be able to find a direct flight from Vancouver to one of the US cities that fly directly to Aruba. Not sure which carrier that would be. Westjet is now servicing (as of May) Toronto- Aruba so perhaps that also might be a cheaper airline.

Good luck!

Last March we met a couple from Vancouver in Aruba. They told us they got a great deal traveling from Seattle via New York to Aruba. I think they found it through Orbits, or one of the other travel companies. They said they traveled all over the world that way. ( Japan, Scotland, Costa Rica, etc.) We were very surprised when they told us the prices of their trips. ( inexpensive ) . i think they were very flexible with their dates of travel.
Good Luck with your search.
