Spectacular deal you got! I just paid 338 + 90 = $428 tax Newark to Aruba in late October. Had enough FF mileage for the wifes ticket.

I paid $406 (including taxes) pp roundtrip out of Boston, direct both ways on American.
I booked about a week ago for our 10th return trip to the Divi in April. I did not think I would find a deal better than that. For what we are paying for 2 roundtrip, we have paid more than this in the past for one ticket.

$799 on Delta for Christmas, $1100 two years ago. Almost a bargain. Would've been even better if I had grabbed it at $549 two weeks ago.

We considered flying down last New Years - the least expensive flight I could find out of the NY/NJ/PA area was over $1000/pp. I decided against it due to those ridiculous prices. This year was much more reasonable - and I started looking at airfares much earlier.
