Every inch matters when you are anywhere close to 6ft tall never mind over it....I just upgraded my seats to the extra room yesterday as the regular seats are torture for me.

It must be very uncomfortable for the tall people. We are both short so we are not too bothered by it but there is not very much room on any airline seat.

I am very short and wish the seats were a little lower so my feet would touch the floor. Long flights are very uncomfortable for me. I usually pull my bag out and put my feet on it.

Robin, that's the problem I have. It's very uncomfortable to sit with your feet dangling!

I'm relatively short (5'3 1/2") and even I can't do Economy any more. I have to do at least Premium Economy. I have arthritis in my knees and need to stretch them out.

eventually the airlines will shorten the space so we have to all sit in the fetal position.

I'm 6'6" and 285 lbs. I try to always get early boarding so I can either get an exit row or a front seat at the bulk head. Inevitably if I get a regular economy seat the person in front of me will try to recline and I'd really prefer not to have a strangers head in my lap.
