yes they do have slots

there is a slot room on the right just before one enters the luggage pick up area (right before usa customs)

there is another slot room up in the gate area, across from gate 4 or 5.

:-)

it will be two weeks ago on Saturday when we left. Bully picked us up at 10:30 our flight was suppose to leave at 1:30 and we had plenty of time....little did we know that sitting on the plane for 4 hours was ahead of us. but, 2 1/2 hours before was fine. we were on Delta and the line wasn't that long at the ticket counter.

My first departure was on the weekend, and it took the 2 1/2 hr, plus time for a snack. Don't forget the duty free shopping. Aruba is nice, cause you have a chance to stuff goodies in your luggage before US customs, to avoid a carry on item(s).

I might leave the hotel about a half hour before my flight this year. Missing the flight would be a GOOD thing, not a bad thing.

We are leaving on a Tuesday for a 5:00 flight - Bully recommended 3 hours but said he would do 2 (because I asked why so early- figured he does this thousands of times but I don't want to have to leave!). Do you think we should do the full 3 hours on a Tues?

Go right in between. 2 1/2 hours should be perfect. You never really know what you may run into at that airport.

no
2 hrs airport time should be sufficient
3 hrs on holidays and fri, sat and sun

all other days 2 hrs seems to be the general consensus.
