Aruba Lisa, can you suggest where I might be able to buy a anodized aluminum flag pole for garden ? or would it need to be shipped in from America?

The general store is prob. your best bet. It's on the main road
from town to the airport. It is at the intersection where you
turn for the pricemart.

Don't think Kooyman would have it.

Yes try the General Store.
Look for Randy he is an American who works at the general store. He is usually around Aisle 38 Nuts and bolts. Very helpful.

norman you and my husband could be BFF
my husband paul, knows the aisle numbers and inventory and the "department guardians/gurus" at our local hardware store.
i go in with him sometimes and he turns into a "hardware man wannabee"

I believe that I am a "hardware woman wannabee" here on the Island. I know the Isle guys in Weema and Kooiman but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Randy in General Store. I should seek him out.

General store is the aruban version of home depot. I know Aruban
men who go to the states and think Home Depot and such are like
Disneyland for men!!! Their wives have to drag them out! "but
honey look this drill is only $xx!!!"
