Hello, we have been looking into buying in Aruba and for our financing limits at this time Im thinking its better to buy a Turn-Key construction. Has anyone bought or in the process ?? Where's good community's ?? how long does it take to build ?? When is payment due ?? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hi there. Good for you looking to buy a home on the island. We had one built and it took 15 months to get it done. Still need to finish the yard and wall around the property. We are, however, in a great neighborhood. If I had to do it again, I would buy something already built and COMPLETELY finished. . . My one suggestion to you is to stay away from "Better Homes". Not the best people to deal with. Owner is under many suits from buyers and the government. . . Look to Best and Solid - Century 21 Realtors. They seem to be on top of things and seem to have their act together. . . . . Just our opion. . . Good luck. . .

Thanks for your reply. Wow, I cant believe it takes so long to build. That was one of my concerns, that I would have to pay a mortgage before I even had my home. We will definatly talk to cent. 21. Thank you
