Buying An Aruba Home

My wife and I recently returned from our first trip ever to Aruba. I must say we were absolutely enamored by the serenity of the island especially it's beautiful beaches and warm hearted people. We are now considering investing in a private home. Ideally we would love to be in the Palm Beach area but would consider something near Eagle Beach. Although a place near the beach sounds wonderful, a home more inland would be something we would look into as well. Is there anyone on this website who has purchased a home in Aruba? Perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing your home buying experience with us. We would like to live in Aruba 4-5 months out of the year and rent the remaining months...hope to hear from you.

Thank You!

Thanks for the kind words! You make me

Your kids are smart. Dh and I would have loved to have married in Aruba if it were legal back then. It will be money well spent for memories to last a lifetime.

Tierra Del Sol

Hi Ken,

Thanks for posting. My wife and I had a fabulous 2007 Christmas dinner at the Tierra Del Sol restaurant. The food was out of this world delicious. I only wish I could afford one of those villas. They are absolutely awesome to say the least.

We are in the process of buying in Aruba

We are buying a Duplex townhome in Tanki Flip. The development is called Totolica Residence. It is 1.8 miles from Eagle Beach. They are not large units but they do have 3 bedroom and 1 bath and a half . They are not built yet they are working on the model home. The roads are in and you can pick your lot. It is property Land and the taxes are only $473.00 per year. There is no maintenance fee. They are selling for less than $150,000.00 US depending on the lot. When we were there in January they were 48% sold. If you are interested go on www.kmb.aruba that's the builder and then you can go on www.coldwellbanker.aw they are handling the property. Also Google Totolica residence aruba and you will get some info . Let us know what you think.
