I highly recommend if you are considering investing in a home in Aruba you move on it quickly. The island is developing at a rapid pace! I am building a new home at Gold Coast Villas which will be completed later next month. I would be happy to share all of my 3 years of research on buying/building in Aruba. I can also give you info on shipping and furnishing your home. Email me direct if your interested. steventford@insightbb.com

Do you have any knowledge regarding building/renting (for investment) a house on the island?

My husband & I bought a house in Aruba on our first visit there. after the closing we discover a water leak so I have just returned from spending 3 months there. I absolutely love it. Our house is in Montana, the neightbours are wonderful.I will return in 6 weeks and intend spending 6 months of the year there.
Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

BillStellaR,

Glad to hear you like it. Maybe we can meet up one of these days when you're back on the island. I'm down in Savaneta about 6 months of the year.
