I am looking to buy a used car to drive the next 5 months that I will be here. I have been told by a seller that in Aruba there are no car titles. He says that to register the car all I need is to bring in a note signed by owner and buyer saying I bought the car including the Vin #.

This very well could be correct but it sounds a bit fishy to me (how would a bank keep a lean on a car if they couldn't put that on the title?).

Nop it is not fishy that how it is here on the island you will just have to have an invoice of the seller with the signature and you will be ready to register it
