LOOKING TO CHAT WITH OTHER FUTURE HOME OWNERS.

Barry I just started looking at Gold Coast and Cas Bon hoping to find someone that can speak to the credibility of this builder/project

Barry, we put a deposit on a townhouse in the Gold Coast Villa project in February. I understand from an article on aruba.com that they now own the land. (See the article on http://cms.aruba.com/ms/agents/news-updates/). You will note it says Malmok Property Development N.V., not Casbon, but the phone number is the same.

I believe Casbon is very reputable and have done some research on the company, but they are not real responsive to email. I have tried on several occasions to email them about the progress of the development, with no response. They must be on "Aruba time"!!

Have you purchased there?

thanks ROBERTA, I ALSO HAVE A DEPOSIT / RESERVATION ON A TOWNHOUSE NOW. I HAVE FOUND THAT IF YOU WANT INFORMATION ON ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO CALL. I HAVE HEARD THEY BROKE GROUND AT THE END OF APRIL. I WILL KEEP LOOKING FOR MORE INFO AND PASS IT ON TO YOU, NOT MUCH ELSE TO REPORT. ALSO I WAS TOLD BUILDING WILL BEGIN ON OR AROUND SEPT 1ST. AND TAKE 6 MONTHS TO COMPLETE. I HAVE SEEN THE RAQUET CLUB AND VIEWED A VILLA, IT WAS WONDERFUL AND COMPLETE, ALOT OF OTHER HOMES I LOOKED AT NEVER SEEMED TO BE COMPLETE. I WAS SOLD ON CAS BON. I WILL BE THERE SEPT 2ND -9TH AND WILL HAVE MANY PICS AND UPDATES TO SHARE.

Hi Barry, Thanks for the update on Gold Coast. I keep watching Cas Bon's website for updates on the project, but nothing yet. Appreciate the tip to call them rather than email. We were hoping to get back there this winter sometime, but no specific plans yet, so we would be very grateful to you for sharing pictures and updates from your trip in September. Keep in touch ... it's nice to know there is someone else enjoying this process with us!

Hi Roberta and Barry...we also puchased a end unit corner townhouse....we're very excited. CasBon checked out pretty well according to the banks. My understanding is that the infrastructure started yesterday...we have a side bet for completion date...but that's ok too! Yes, it is nice that we have company to watch this develop.

I have heard from another that they are in Aruba now purchasing and promises to send me info on up-to-date sales and the start of the infrastructure. Will be sure to pass this on....Our unit is C-7 (or C-8) the end corner townhouse across from the club house.

We too are very excited about the completion of this development. Our townhouse is in complex #6, unit 1. We have booked our trip for early January and hope by that time much progress will have been made. We are looking forward to it.
