Hi Andrea, nice to see that you are visiting Aruba again, maybe we will see each other before you leave. If you are coming from Pizza Hut at the round about you turn right, than the first left, you will be in front of the convinience store, there you turn to the right, now you are in caya TUMBA, you go straight ahead and the house before the last house on your left hand, that is number 47, no fence in the front, easy to find, good luck. Regards Bully.

    Argh.
went that way a couple of times
but then went and was looking in karen henry's neighborhood. (remember her, tom her husband died last january)
after we made the left at the texaco station we went PAST the convenience store and then turned right.
if we are feeling better, we will head out in an hr or 2.
i got incredibly seasick today while bobbing around the ocean.

keep fingers crossed i have something to post when i get back later.

Thanks Andrea, your just great. Recieved photos. Thankyou Bully also for wonderfull directions. Yes house looking run down alittle. Do you think Andrea with a columed terrace built at front I would get a nice view? And if work done to freshen up front, could it look good? Is area ok for family? And is it a 10 minute walk to beach as advert describes? Stray dogs alittle worrying as are the chickens/ roosters roaming around. I would add lap pool in garden also. Take away the gravel at the front, add nicexpalms or plants. And nice paving tiles. Perhaps change colour of house. Love to hear your thoughts? Andrea I will send pic off terrace I would plan to build at front. Thankyou again Andrea, you are truly wonderfull.

my husband said that the dogs and chickens are a non issue as lots of neighborhoods have them.
if the front were dressed up a little/lot, nice driveway, railings at front steps, landscaping, then most definitely it would look good.

10 minute walk to the beach is a stretch. and there are no sidewalks, you'd have to walk down the street that the house is on approx 100 yds, turn left and go about 100 yds, turn right walk along that road for another 100 yds, cross there at the roundabout, turn right and walk up to the old royal casino (aruban property) cut thru there about 500 yds, come out at eagle beach in between paradise beach villas and lacabana. husband and i are guessing a 25 minute walk. almost a mile?

the color of the house is pretty good.

befriend me on facebook andrea doucette james and we can discuss more.
*****disclosure******** paul and i renovated a house in maine on a river 2.5 yrs ago, so we are able to see things and imagine things as they way they are or should be...
