Very difficult with residence and work permits in Aruba these days. I would consult with a local attorney, someone like Ronald Wix at Kock/Wix. They have a website with their address. Be prepared for tremendously long waits for stamps on paperwork and so forth. There is an election coming in about a year, perhaps things will change. But Aruba is a small island and the immigration issue is a hot one these days.

I'm in the US and also wanted to move to Aruba. After doing some research, here is what I found out. If you are not a native Arubian you can only live in Aruba for 3 years and then you have to leave for 3 years. Or you can live there for 3 months at a time. As far as employment goes, all jobs are offered to Arubians first. You can only get a job there if there are no qualified Arubians that want that job. I did this research end of last year so things could have changed since then but I'm pretty sure those are the rules. As mentioned above, Aruba is a small island, they have to have restrictions to preserve their culture.
