    Property Manager

    Angela,

Since you posted this immediately after reference to Albert, are you advising against using this property manager??

    Hello Aquaman,
I do not know who Alberto is and I apologize if I came across that way. What I meant is that as an owner of a home it is important to get references and really know who you are dealing with. I was only trying to give advice from others abroad who have used different property managers. I am only trying to point out different options and am more open since I deal with many tourists who rent villas.

    Property Managers

    Hi Angela,

Thank you for clarifying this. I must agree that it is very important to do due diligence in detail when selecting a property manager. As an owner of a home in Aruba that is rented out as avacation home, I know first hand how important this is. It is important as there must be trust as the person seected will be representing you and youe reputation, handling your money etc.

Angela, you are so correct about being so very careful in the selection process.

    Regards

    Aquaman

would be interested in getting this guys name. The current porpertymanager seems a bit high and may be taking advantage of owner we are buying from. It would be nice to have reliable trustworthy and handy all in one package

You should also look up the taxation issue as your rent will be taxed by the Arubian
    government:

Sorry i'm on the taxation issue. But just wish someone had told me (and my
friends think the same way) when we were trying to get the costs together of
    owning and/or living here.
