i do know that some resorts sometimes offer their furniture to their employees at very much discounted prices.

you may want to contact resort's managers to inquire.

I would say to buy a place in a gated community or have a good alarm system. I understand that there is house breaks that do accure on the island, so be ware.

Question

This particular house not in gated community but we are still looking.Thank You for advise.Meanwhile let me ask you if anything new for solar or wind turbine on island? We thought it will let us be more independent from utilities and cheaper on a long run?

There is a store called Dura Home Centre taht has contracts with various of the resorts/timeshares. They purchase from the resorts/timeshares the furniture/beds, and if necessary recondition. We purchased custom made mattresses from them and are happy. Matress was made and delivered same day. Woth checking into. They give great service.....even better if you pay in cash!!
