Man I cant wait, Mid July I am out of the UK and heading your way.

Hey dose anyone know what its like getting a boat from Punto Fijo to Aruba is like? There are so many stories out there.

Also, are you allowed to Pole spear fish?

Anyone else going fro the UK around the same time want to meet up?

I fancy making the trip to Aruba an interesting one, if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Punto Fijo good question and I get different answers, I know of people who bring speed boats and go back and forth and I believe to bring illegal workers. I do not believe because of custom is no longer at dockside of Punto Fijo that you can leglly take a boat to venezuela but there are numerous planes leaving daily and inexpensive. Dont get me wrong you will be able to find a boat to tak yu to aruba but not legally. There are no ferries and no way to check in with customs unless with airplane or cruise ship.

Some discussion on spearfishing. Short answer is no, it is not permissible.
