Does anyone know if there is a message board about relocating to Aruba. My spouse may be put on a project there for a couple of years. We have kids so I need to find out info on private schools and NICE areas to live. We are looking to spend $3,000-$4,000(US) a month on a long term lease. This will not be our first time to live on an island, We use to live in the USVI. So I am looking for basic information about living on this island. We are planning a PMV in a couple of weeks so that I can check this place out. I am told that if I survived living in the Virgins Islands that I will do just fine in Aruba. Hope that I don't get in trouble for posting this here. I just needs lots of information and I need it fast.

TXLady - There is a private international school in Aruba. They teach classes in English there - most other schools teach in the Dutch Language. The school is located just behind Wayaca Residences - not far from the airport. If you are looking to rent a house, I would suggest this neighborhood for close proximity to the school as well as a safe and nice location.
