    Firstly, Congrats on making the move to Aruba!! And thanks for sharing your buildup to your journey through your blog. Can't wait to read your further updates. As a life long Caribbean citizen/resident, I would like to welcome you to the region where there is no such thing as winter. Where the white stuff on the ground is sand on the beach, and where ice is found only in your drinks!!

    You lucky lucky oh well...us one day , As we have just left and the U.K. Is rain Rain and cold even the trees are loosing their leaves .
    Have to wait a while longer ,But enjoy the beautiful Aruba .ENJOY..

    I love the beach (who doesn't?), anywhere that I can snorkel, The Donkey Sanctuary (much to the dismay of my daughter), the lighthouse.

    Thank you for sharing your blog! I loved reading it.

    I had a similar experience trying to find the Donkey Sanctuary. I was hopelessly lost and stopped to ask some locals for directions. They insisted on driving there with me following, and then refused to accept my thank you money!
