What are the costs in shipping a classic old car from America to Aruba?

I just sent vehicle, the duty without residency permit is 50% of book value of vehicle plus shipping costs which range from 1500 to 2500 depending on size of vehicle. With residency permit duty is free as long as vehicle is 6 month old and reg and insured for over 6 months in states and sent within 1st yr. of Aruban permit and registration of Aruban census
