SanNic44,as soon as I am settled I will be happy to invite you over and all who helped me with some tips. I don't mind if you drink and eat everything for that is what food and drinks are for. But i wouldn't promise you I will have loads of it. In any case more than enough and good quality. I will keep you posted.

Other good news. Today, 7 July, I arrived on the island and at my house, the water meter was replaced. I wanted them to do this when I built the new wall but it couldn't be scheduled. Anyway, they installed a brand new water meter and also a valve that allows the water to be "locked" in the off position. This is good so that when you are not in residence the water is "off" at the source. Talk to you later. 44 |

Finally got the exciting photo of that water meter on the blog. It shows the lock-out valve. Over the next couple posts I'll have photos of the hot water heater and the new bathroom.
