There are nice homes in a Wayaca development for sale, but it is across from the airport and behind Price Club. Does anyone know if it is dominated by the sounds of the airplanes taking off and landing? The realtor says "no",...but they will say anything to get you to buy.
The best way to get an idea is to find a map of the runway layout versus your house location. If your housing plan is on the end of the runway, you will hear them during take-off and landing (the other end is on the ocean).
If you are parallel to the runway, you should be fine. By the looks from Google Earth, there are few houses at the end of the runway, so you should be fine.
