What about Banks?

Can anyone tell me which are the main banks in Aruba?
I'd like to hear opinion as to which one would be best for someone coming from Europe and the reasons why.

If you already live in Aruba, which is your bank? why you chose it over others?
I'm mainly interested in knowing the following, in no particular order:

-what it takes for a foreiner to open an account there.
-what comissions if any the bank may charge
-Do Aruban banks offer online access to the personal account? how complete is the site?
-How much is it generally charged for a monye transfer both national an international?

Sorry if I ask too many questions.

One of the top experts.

If he can't answer your questions, no-one can. And that is not a joke.

I do know that when you wire money from the states and the bank is associated with a US bank the cost is only $15.00. If its not it would be $65.00.

What???!!!!!!
I work with 5 different banks here in Spain and none of them charge for national or Eurpean money transfers and in the case of international non-European money wires it could be a very small percentage from the amount but no more than 9 euros.

Well, I am re-reading your comment and I do not see it clear yet, are you talking about the cost of a money wire from Aruba to the rest of the world or from the US to Aruba?

When we wire money to Aruba from the US it cost us $15. if its a bank that is associated with a bank here. The one that we've used is J.P. Morgan Chase out of NY. (our attorney's bank) Our bank wires it to Chase and then to Aruba. If it is a local bank in Aruba that is not connect to a US bank it would cost us $65. to send. This is just US to Aruba that i know.
