Hey Karen in NYC, just so you know, jet blue charges that $20. each way for second case, they don't specifiy it, but I asked the question when I spoke with jet blue, everything is quoted on a one way basis, $40. is still better than $100. for overweight charges.

We've done the "space bags" and they work pretty well at the compression of the clothes. I haven't ironed anything (at home or vacation) in years. I lay things flat in a stack, put in space bag and roll the air out. However, last vacation I packed a week ahead of time, then when it was time to go home i packed the last day, & the suitcase was jammed! We had won t-shirts and collapsable coolers that I had to give away because I couldn't get them in the suitcase.

I'm catherine and am new to this forum. My husband, Dave, and I are taking our 1st trip to Aruba in December. Can't wait! Just wondering, have you ever stayed @ the Marriott Stellaris? That's where we'll be. I've heard from others that it's nice. Thanks for any info! Catherine
