Markdown shopping for aruba..do it now

Well I decided to start adding to this list when I got a note from Bill thanking Lisa and I for the luggage scale info...so here goes..

Check your local stores now for markdown sunscreen and blow up floats. My CVS has a warehouse location that stocks all the stuff from its locations into this place. We purchased 10 bottles of sunscreen and tons of asst floats for next year. I will caution you to check the expiration dates b4 purchasing...

Other things to add to your list of things to take include h2o drop in's for water bottles, nip bottles, small insulated tote bag, small detergent to wash out swim suits, plugs in room freshners....

Hmmm, plug in air freshners, another great idea. I bring insect repelent wipes. I like the wipes so I dont over spray on my fellow vacationers.

Thanks, how many bottles of sunscreen do you bring? Curious for myself, that is why I ask, do they sell there ?

aruba stores sell sunlotion/screen
pricing is significantly higher than here in the usa.

cindy has a family of 4 so i would wager that they use a bottle a day between them.

my husband an i use a bottle between us every 3 days.

Kath2Me, we bring about 12 bottles of sunscreen, now thats for 4 of us, for 2 weeks....NO, we don't drink them...lol...cindy

That sounds about right! Dh and I use more or less depending upon time of year.

Dd is fair and gets 3 days out of a bottle at most.
