A "mild" warning. I have been told there were a few groups of teen boys blending in very well at the beaches... swiping things of unsuspecting beach goers.

reminder......if you have a vacation vault or something similar, please USE it.
make friends with your beach palapa neighbors and help do a "neighborhood watch" in your area on the beach.

be proactive.

do not let little boy punks ruin your vacation.

Thanks for the tip Andrea. I think I am going to look into a vacation vault. That really is a shame that they do that!

Always good to have a "Heads Up"! Thanks, Andrea, for the reminder!
We'll be going to St Maarten for the 1st time, in April, taking our vacation vault with us! I find that when I've become familiar with a destination, I tend to let my guard down.

Very disappointing - perhaps the "visibility" team of the local police can be stepped up in the areas suspected of having the most issues . . . perhaps they can run these brats off the island.

the report that i got from the person that witnessed it had it happen at Palm Beach up near MOOMBAS.

the police are well aware of the situation and have apprehended folks AND some of the "bad guys" were/are young tourists.
