Tip of the day-packing

Yes, I have started packing, heck, 23 days is coming like a locomotive to me...So, here's my other tip of the day....I take my food sealer thing and seal up the shampoo's, sunscreens, any liquids, kinda like shrink wrapping them individually and pack them that way. We learned that it takes a lot of scrubbing to get several layers of sunscreen out of the lining of the suitcase one year. We unseal them when we get there and usually throw out the remains so we don't take them home, or leave them for the hotel staff to take home.

If you do not have a food sealer. You can also use ZiplocŪ bags.

When I pack I usually place the bottle in a ZiplocŪ bag, and then group them together with like products, say hair product or suntan lotions in one large 2 gallon ZiplocŪ bag.

Keeps everything organized and makes for quick unpacking so we are on the beach sooner!

WRONG love god. Before I put suitcases away last year they were filled with Aruba items for the next year.....tubes, portable fishing gear, beach bags, cooler, clothesline...... I even packed clothes that are solely "Aruba wear".

Pack list was revised on plane ride home and stored on hard drive in the Aruba folder....printed out on the evening of January 1st which is when the countdown (which never ends) gets serious.

my wife thinks im nuts..right after we get home i do the wash from the trip and then put the clothes right back in the suitcase and i'm ready to go on a moments notice..when the trip comes around i can take some stuff out put some stuff in but i'm basically ready in just say three minutes..it comes in handy if one suprises their spouse with an extra aruba trip during the year..also if you wrap the toiletries even after zip lock bags in a towel anything that breaks open and gets out of the bag gets absorbed by the towel and keeps your clothes safe from harm..

Have worn the same tees to/from Aruba every year for the last 6 or so:
On way down "If found please return to Aruba" on back
On way back "Aruba Survivor" on front
Same teeshirts, same flights.... hopefully, same size!
Embarassing to my wife....I'm sure!
