I forgot my hat, with my almost bald head a big mistake! I actually went to Champions my first night and paid $15 for my second cap from them.
But my head is definitely happy that I did it!

Have Fun, Pete

This last trip I brought along not only a stain "pen" to work on spots immediately, but also brought my one and only favorite Stain Stick. I was able to apply the Stain Stick to any stain as we took off our clothes each evening. This way when we arrived home nothing had to sit and wait since I find it works best when it sets overnight.

Unhappy in case of rain or who knows what or why

in my many travels, (especially my trip to ireland) i've on a few occassions have gotten to my destination, and found that some of my clothes are wet and soiled. This could be because of rain in a connecting city (duh lol) or who knows what, (maybe the guy/girl working the luggage is having a bad day and throws your case on top of a puddle, I don't know lol) In any case when I went to ireland, I had a disaster on my hands with my clothes and my sons, what wasn't soaked with water and dirt was damp, and with Ireland being the way it is, needless to say it wasn't easy to clean those clothes and get them dry, (actually the cleaning wasn't a problem, it was the drying)

So I now pack lots of sealed plastic bags with my clothes in them to keep them dry and clean.

I also have learned a valuable lesson on bringing clothes in my carryon, as I've also had my luggage lost for more than 24 hours, I make sure at least two changes of clothing pr shoes/sandals and bathing suit are in my carry on as I got stuck in the bahamas two times without any of this, thank god I put a bathing suit in carry on, but not much of anything else. That is a lesson I will never forget, though I obviously did as the first time was probably 20 years ago, and had never had a problem until my trip in jan 07.

So get out those plastic bags and start packing, and ohh yes don't forget to put some snuggle dryer sheets in with them, keeps everything smelling great!!! And don't forget the underwear and couple of outfits in the carryon!!!! Hope my misfortune helps someone else!!!!

Our hat of choice, especially after having the tops of our ears sunburned one too many times! Dh also has the same "head condition" as pkornnh.
Cotton Crusher w/Brass grommets http://www.ultimatehat.com/

We even wear them in the water. Water does not stretch them or shrink them. When windy there is the under chin strap. The big bonus is that it is machine washable! Not cheap, but dh and I have both had ours for about 8 years now and they are like new. Though the brass is a little tarnished.
