TOWEL TRAPS for Lounge Chairs

On one of the Aruba bb's (can't remember which) there was a question about a gimmick that keeps beach towels on the chairs, secure from the lovely Aruba wind. Last year I bought two such things after reading about the ideas on one of the bb's (again, can't remember which; guess it's the hour I'm writing this, or one of my senior moments).

One is on line from Bed, Bath & Beyond, and they're called Boca Towel Clips that come in pairs in several shapes and colors -- shells, parrots, palm trees, fish, etc. choices. They are great!!

The other suggestion that I followed was called the Towel Trap that slips over the towel on the back of the chair with a 2" or 3" black elastic band, and it has a colorful, fairly comfortable pillow attached to it. The website on which I ordered it slips my mind right now (oh oh ), but I'll try to find it and post it here.

We have the boca clips also terrific, but if you can't find them we have used the clips that you hold chip bags closed with, they will work also. Love the towel trap idea with a pillow perfect for snoozing in the aruba breeze

We go the high tech route and just take along the run of the mill generic clothes pins.

They work just fine and you can't beat the price!

LOL, we are the same high tech kind of folks. I've been working off the same bag of clothes pins since we first visited the Tam at the end of 2007.

$1.49 for 50 at Target! WOW!

I saw the exact same towel traps for sale at the Juggling Fish at the Playa Linda last month. Price was either the same or cheaper (can't remember) so you can wait and purchase one in Aruba if you don't want to pay for shipping.
