I keep that small stuff in a water wallet. Holds room key and a few dollars. Snaps closed and goes into a pocket or with lanyard, around the neck. I have a couple of sizes but prefer the narrow one.

Do men's bathing suits have inside secure pockets or just my dh's suits? His favorite suits have a pocket just large enough to fit the key and he has Speedo suits which actually have an attached inside water proof wallet.

paul has speedo trunks with an inside pocket/wallet thingy but it is not waterproof.
maybe it was supposed to be waterproof at one point, but currently it is not.
that suit also has an outside pocket with a velcro closure.

The water wallets are good to keep on you can put in a pocket or wear around your neck..keeps money and room key dry... I still love my Vacation vault for everything else. IPods, cameras, glasses etc....rather than just leaving in in a beach bag... sorry I don't trust anyone..

I just found the vacation vault at Home Depot for $19.99! They have 8 colors, and I think
it's only available online. But that's a great price!!

We just bought a vacation vault from the cabana store. They had many colors to choose from. We used it last week while we were on a cruise. We were able to fit our small camcorder and my travel wallet it in. We really liked being able to lock it around the chair, and walk anywhere around the beach without having to check on our things. I wish it was a little bigger, but it worked well for us. We will take it with us from now on.

One thing I did, bug, was to put my Kindle in my zippered beach bag and then secured the straps of my bag to my palapa with the VV. I know our things are generally safe on the beach, and I've seen very few reported problems. I figure most thefts in the area grab and runs, so I felt very confident leaving my Kindle (which I'm very attached to) in my bag when I was away from my chair.
