What have you taken from this board
My wife and I have been going to Aruba about 15 years now and have enjoyed every last minute there. We have learned to enjoy more things that we didnt know existed since being on this board. So my question is, what is the one thing that made your vacation that much better that you got from this board tip, advise, experience etc? It will be hard but try to keep it to one.

Without even thinking about it....the welcoming atmosphere I feel everytime we go to Aruba. Her people, the way I don't have to be fearful walking down the street, not being attacked by someone wanting to braid my hair..
That is what drew me to the island at first and that is what keeps me coming back !!!!!!!

Now what have I taken from this board.Sorry, bill, it can't be one..lots of good friends, advise on wedding vow renewals, good recomendations on restaurants, a book recommended " An Island Away"...i will stop here..cindyo

same as cindy says......................way too much to even list.
good friends--good restaurant suggestions...good flight/rental car/taxi information-------and then i keep going back to good folks with great intentions and much friendliness

Before becoming active on this board, every time we started to get close to our annual trip I wondered what changes we would encounter when we arrived. Now, I feel as though we have a good idea of what's going on year-round.
Beyond that...I feel as though I've made many friends on this site, though the only person I've met in person (other than CindyO  ) is Andrea J. I look forward to meeting more of you.

In June he suggested the Kini Kini ATV tour for our trip to the Natural Pool. In 17 visits to the island, though it is not for everyone, our family found it to be one of the best excursions we have taken. The others being the helicopter tour, Jolly Pirates and Tranquilo.

Thee are too many things to mention...probably would take the whole page. One of my favorite things, however, is no matter how many times we return to the "Ocean Club," at the Marriott, certain employees always remember me/us and treat us as if we were family that had left and are anxiously returning home. So, hopefully, and God willing, we will be "Returning Home" to Paradise in 2009.
