I was in Aruba for one day on two different occasions and I am already hooked. You will have a great day on the island, I am sure of that. Enjoy!!

It really depends upon what you wish to do with your time.
Shopping?
Beach? Active or quiet?
Sightseeing?
All of the above?

Ideally for a first time visitor to get a flavor of Aruba, I would split the day between a very affordable morning private island tour and then spend the rest of the day on the beach. There are vendors on both Eagle and Palm beaches who rent chaises and umbrellas. Head to Eagle beach for quiet and Palm beach for lots of activities.

I want to hit the beach, shop a little, and eat and drink
