    Aruba Specific Products

So we got back from Aruba a couple of days ago. We aren't big shoppers but Maggie has seemingly fallen in love with Aruba's Hands by Gaby. Now Gaby is an incredibly passionate artist that makes fantastic jewelry. However, I was wondering what other Aruba-specific items people like to purchase while there. Right now, I'm all about supporting the local businesses and would love to hear what Aruba only items you all have discovered.

I like Aruba's Hands by Gaby as well. She is a talented artisan.

I love Aruba Aloe products (deodorant, shower gel and shampoo). It is overpriced..so i buy it only online when there is 20% discont and free shipping. A few times per year.

I love and buy cookies....Stroopwaffels @ Lings and Super Food. (overpriced in airport shops)

Also...Douwe Egbert coffee. regular and 1/2 caf . I do not think that this coffee is Aruba brand, it is Dutch.

I have never purchased stuff from the AloeMan, but many folks love what he sells.

Pam has fallen in love with "Creations by Claudia". Not only is Claudia an awesome bartender at the beach bar at Playa Linda, she is also a talented seamstress and clothes designer. She sells beautiful clothing she makes like beach cover ups, lounge pants, etc.

I like to poke in a grocery store and pick out items to try. This trip I'll look for shoarma spice. Also enjoy the Aruba Aloe products. Then last trip I discovered the Mopa Mopa store at the Renaissance Marketplace. They have some really unique pieces.

I'm sure Maggie will want to check out her clothing on our next visit

Love the Mopa Mopa store. They also have one in the Paseo Herencia Mall. We are more familiar with that one since its within walking distance of our rental.

I like hand painted items. Last year downtown I found a couple of nice boxes hand painted with tropical flowers. I like little items I can use for work to put paperclips in or other items. I also like hand painted hair clips. If I go to Iguana Joe's I always bring back some of their hot sauce. I also like to bring home dutch cheese.
