twistrman,
Remember you can only bring duty free if it is a direct flight. If you have have a stop over-no good as we were told. I would say we got booze 1/2 the price in Newark as compared to Aruba. We did think that Palmera rum was good in Aruba and a good deal. Barcardi rum in Aruba is a premium as well as bud beer. Balashi is cheaper than bud. Have a blast and read these forums on how to save money in Aruba. We made out pretty good saving on food, booze, happy hours, fishing, shopping and day trips and snorkel gear.

Another thing that we have done in the past is to go to say lings and buy liquor/beer and keep it at the hotel and mix your own.Works well up to the point where ya can't get out of the chair to go up to the room and make anymore!
