I like to drink the local beers wherever I am. Red Stripe in Jah Land, Kalik in the Bahamas and of course Balashi in Aruba. Don't forget its made with some of the best water in the world.

Drinking water: There is no need to buy bottled water, Aruba’s water from the tap is praised for its excellent quality and taste. Aruba’s drinking water flows from the world’s second largest desalinization plant. It is not only perfectly pure and safe to drink, it’s also very delicious.

You can actually buy a beer when you arrive in the airport. Its at the little snakck place to the left. They offer many different things there. So when you arrive go get a beer!

Is this the little bar/shack that you see across from the parking lot as you're exiting the airport?

I was picking up a friend at the airport in April and had to circle and circle (her flight was late) and I kept driving by this little bar that I never noticed before. I was soooooo tempted to just pull in, park, and sit there with a beer but I knew she'd never find me there. I have to pick up my hubby at the airport in Sept. since he arrives a couple of days after me....wondering if that would be a good spot to meet so I can enjoy a couple of cold ones while I wait.

No, don't live in Michigan, but do business once in awhile at the Zoo. You won't find many hoppy beers in Aruba, mostly light stuff. I ten towards the brights while we are there.
