Balashi versus Heineken

I've had Heineken at the actual Heineken brewery as well as Amstel in Holland and that is the one and only place I will drink them, it's just not the same in the states or anywhere else.


Balashi is the beer for me in Aruba, can't beat it!!

Same here - and both are great there! But in Aruba we usually drink Amstel Brights and Polar (unless the Balashi is on tap....that's the only way we like Balashi.)

When we visited Amsterdam last year the Brewery was under construction and we couldnt visit - I was soooo disappointed.

Made up for this year by visiting Guinness in Dublin and followed up with a walk over to Jameson Distillery. I was barely able to walk back to the hotel after that tour!

Nothing beats ice cold Bright by the pool though!
