Here's one of those random product-availability questions.
Is Becel available on the island? I know I've seen Land 'o Lakes, but my memory isn't good enough anymore to recall Becel.
Anyone know?

Sorry, I thought it was one of those brand name things that many know.
It's a butter replacement... oh jeez that sounds rather unappetizing.
For lack of a better word, margarine.
Michael Mattalo and his crew should know it, being Canadians....

i do not know if they have that brand of margarine.
that being said, they have plenty of other brands of margarine.

we use a soft serve butter with olive oil and did not find that at any of the aruba grocery.

BECEL is a brand of margarine but I have never seen it in Aruba.

dear husband says Lings has it.
I do not believe him.

we had the BECEL conversation this evening during dinner.
All DH knows about Lings is the bakery and the Macarthur milk.

. . . and here is the package shot of the Netherlands version of BECEL - I bet a greater chance it is exported to Aruba from Holland than from Canada :-)
