    Beer

Hello, Can anyone give some advice on buying beer at a good price. Our crew consumes double digit cases during a weeks vacation, and I was just wandering if there is a better source for my alcoholism. Ling and sons and Super are where we normally purchase, but I was just curious if there is a better option. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Next Aruba trip to the Marriott Surf Club July 2018.

    hahahaha

you may want to check out Price Mart, near the airport.
it is a member store, similar to Costco or BJ.
some folks say there is significant savings on cases of beer.
but, would it be worth the price of a membership?
if you could go in as a guest, what would the guest price be over and above the actual price for members?
you will have to hear what others say and then do the math.

i am betting, the final answer will be LINGS.

Mmmmmmmmm beer.... I always buy at Ling's. I have kicked around the idea of trying to find it cheaper, but Ling's has all of the cold Balashi I can drink for a price that is acceptable to me. I would rather run up to Ling's, get beer and get back to the Surf Club and drink said beer than waste time driving all over the island to save a few florin.

Super Foods usually has weekly specials on cases of beer. Check there first. Price is not that much cheaper and you need to be a member. . .

Okay I did some recon on this: Below is the response on the membership at Price Smart. It seems they only offer the small cans and the price is AWG 48.95 / USD 27.35 They also have a 10% service charge for temporary memberships. Oh well at least I know I am not missing out on a great deal, and the membership wouldn't benefit us. If you eat in I guess it would be worth looking into it. This is the response form Price Smart if anyone is interested.

"We want to thank you for taking your time to write us an email. Come and visit our club during your stay, present a valid identification and you will receive a temporary day pass with a surcharge of 10% plus 1.5% tax on your total items purchased. Unfortunately we do not accept Costco Membership card at our Club."

glad to hear that Price Smart got back to you.

in prior years....maybe 8 or more years ago, Price Smart in Aruba honored the Costco card.
