While it's definitely true that I can throw them back with the best, the recovery time is no longer what it once was
Not sure when, but we will be back

Its funny, the only place I drink in the world is Aruba and its a good thing. I don't drink during the day typically but always will have a bacardi and coke (diet) on the way to dinner (made in the room) and then have somewhere between 2-3 with dinner. I will then continue drinking double bacardi and cokes all night long as I gamble stopping around 2-3am during which time I consume an ungodly amount of drinks, wake up go to breakfast, enjoy the day with the family.....press repeat for as long as I am there-except the last night, I won't gamble or drink then....I go home and I turn the closet drunk off, lol and I won't drink again till I return. Those are some true Aruba superpowers

I'll bring some Balashis or Amstel Brights to the beach from Lings. Prices are high, but they are what they are. For a really enjoyable beer or two, we go to Bavaria. Best on the island.

From their website, it looks like The Local Store (restaurant)has a good beer selection too. We don't really like craft or specialty beers so we stick to bud lights on the beach or a bucket at Pelicans or Carlitos. Make sure to pack a soft sided cooler.

I once said I won't drink a light beer but I had a 40oz coors light with dinner this evening. It was really nice and cold! The only way I can drink beer. I had it in the freezer. On my last trip to Aruba I found out that I enjoy 2 cans of Balashi at 8am but I was good until the evening and able to swim.

I like the Balashi beer. It is just the right size for me. I seem to never be able to finish a regular size bottle of beer. I found these just perfect for the beach and I took Tracy's advice last year and purchased a soft sided cooler and Andrea's advice for the Tervis tumblers. It's just the little things in life that make us happy. I purchased my sunscreen from ebay this week so I am getting ready.
