Not sure if it works internationally, but some AMEX cards offer double warranties on purchases. We have been reimbursed full amount of purchases for items which went kaput after the manufacturer's warranty expired. When our $500 coffee roaster died, it was well worth the AMEX annual fee. They also reimbursed the full amount and did not prorate it for the time we owned the item.

We find most US warranty are useless here....

Have name brand appliances and computers - All the companies said it was for US service only - so ask the CC company in advance about the warranty part.
You also might check the manufacturer site - see if they have any service arm here. As for a HP computer - had to send it back to the states for service - which is very costly.

Thanks so much everyone for your help. I think we may just do the day pass, as we will just be buying snacks, beer, & sodas for our welcome bags for our wedding guests. We think buying them in bulk will definitely be easier and save us $ at the same time.
Does anyone know if they sell the Aruba Aloe Creams there??

If you are going to buy a quantity, perhaps travel over to the Aloe Factory and see about a volume or case discount.
