Buy cheese at Ling and sons or at airport on your way out. FLea market is weekends 1/2 between Rui and downtown, it will be on your left hand side as you head into downtown and is only on the weekends.

I stayed at the Riu in January, it was fantastic, great food , great pool and beach, lots of happy people, great staff. As far as buying cheese you are better off buying at a grocery store like Ling and Sons or Certified it is priced better than the airport, Enjoy yourself

ok what am I missing here? I am a huge cheese fan. Should I be buying some specific cheese while in Aruba?

Dutch Gouda!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gouda_cheese

We buy our Dutch gouda here at home in the states. It is easier than carting it home.

wow never had it there. Is it any better there or do they make the same here?

Actually I am editing my statement above, I just read you wikipedia link. I have had this b4 at the Aquarius buffet downtown by me at the Ren. This cheese is great, I'll have to get some when I return in April.

Thank you!

Recommend any good wine to go with it? Maybe a little port?

Cannot go by me, I only drink whites.

My grandparents were Portuguese, from the Azores, but Port was something I was never able to acquire a "taste" for.
