Closest Grocery Store to Ren.

Does anyone know the name of the closest grocery store to the Renaissance? I remember that there is one right behind the Marina Hotel, but can't remember the name and was also wondering if they would deliver groceries to the Ocean Suites for us?

Ling and Sons are the only ones I am aware of who deliver

Hong King is still open. Its directly behind the Marina Tower.
Street is torn up at our visit 4 wks ago. Probably still is. Store was open then. Captain Cooks in the Renn Marketplaace mall has all the stuff you might need with in 50 steps of the door at the suites. Nope on delivery...

We love the Hong King right behind the Ren Mall. Street was back together when we were there on the 13th and 14th of June. We got a $6 bottle of Cabernet from Chile for my wife..she loved it..but then we never wrote it down to get another at Lings later when we moved to the timeshare at the high rises. Hong King behind the Ren mall is perfect for getting snacks, wine, liquor, beer. Liquor prices were actually a few dollars less than Ling's. Captain Cooks is great in a pinch..but wow..their prices will get you!

and at captain cooks, they (employees) tend to follow customers around as if they suspect shoplifting.......kind of unsettling.

We enjoyed shopping at Hong King when we were there in June. It is huge and the prices are better than Ling and Sons. Certified was just a overly stuffed Wal Mart type store. When you are on vaca, you want to buy just a few staples and get out of there, not go through the $ store type of junk before you get to the staples. Just my 2 cents worth

Convenient though when your flip flops "flop" and you need a new pair on the cheap If you are looking to save money, it beats paying the inflated prices of resort sundries shops where you are paying for the convenience
