I personally think the embargo is stupid and I have written my congressmen a few times but until the laws are changed I personally wont violate them thus my suggestion to try the local brand Aruhiba. I don't care what others do as far as bringing stuff home undeclared, if its jewelery, liquor or cuban cigars, go for it. I don't know if there is some satisfaction in "breaking the rules" but buying local would be good for the island which I think we all agree would be a good thing.

Of course, I agree with Andrea about "purposely violating the laws." Why place yourself in jeopardy! I don't smoke, but did purchase cigars at the "Windmill," which were cultivated and grown in Aruba. The persons that I brought them back for thoroughly enjoyed them.
