Duty Free availability when arriving in Aruba

    Hello,

We just booked a trip to Aruba - Our Departing flight/terminal airport does not offer Duty Free. Is there a place when we land at the Aruba Airport we can grab a bottle or two of alcohol that is duty free? Looking to see if there is something IN the airport available for arriving Aruba flights.

    Thank you!

    Welcome to the forum

Yes there is duty free just before you exit the aruba airport.
It seems to have an adequate selection of alcohol.
We have bought Kahului and baileys there.
Travel companions have bought crown royal and grey goose

Thank you Andrea!! I appreciate the information. I am familiar with the arrival process. Do you recall if it is before customs? Or where we get our luggage (luggage is pretty much the last stop before walking out into the warm warm weather :-))

    Thanks again!

It is located after aruba immigration , down one level to the luggage area and to the far right hand corner of that luggage area is the duty free. Then you go thru aruba customs after duty free.

There are duty free limits of one liter per person entering Aruba. If they stop you with more, you will have to pay the duty. It's probably still cheaper but the lines can be very long to pay duty.

though the tax you'd have to pay on overages is still way cheaper than purchasing the booze in the grocery stores....way cheaper!

Do they have Palmera at Duty free? We're coming in on Sunday and I'm not sure if the rum shop we usually hit will be open.

I'm not sure Palmira, being an Aruban product, would be in a duty-free shop.
