Duty Free Shopping-Jet Blue

I'm confused about the duty free shopping prior to leaving the U.S. If we purchase beer before we leave for Aruba, Jet Blue actually allows us to bring it on board or how does that work?

yes you can bring duty free booze on the plane.
(i think there are some rules about opening it and consuming it onboard though....disallowed)

but beer, from the best i can remember beer is not sold in duty free shops at the airports.

lots/many buy liquor (not beer or wine) at the duty free shops to bring in to aruba.

my recommendation is if you want beer on aruba, wait til you arrive and purchase either AMSTEL BRITES or BALASHI.
many american beers are sold on aruba.

some folks bring the aruban beer home in their checked luggage!

Just for the record, you can bring home way more than a six pack.

She knew that but didn't want to carry more.

Yup you can buy beer at airport when leaving Aruba. They sell 6 packs of Brights for 9usd and 6 pack of Balashi for 6usd. They sell it in the "food court" area duty free shop before going into US Customs.
